Botnet Attacks

There are many different types of botnet attacks and they each accomplish a different task. The majority of the information you will find on this website, stems from the OWASP organization.  OWASP, or the Open Web Application Security Project is an organization that provides information on web application security.

The organization released their top 10 list of application security threats which are commonly used for protection against code based vulnerabilities like sql injections and cross site scripting.  However, as it relates to this website, we are focusing on the list of automated threats that they released on November 3, 2016.

We summarized a lot of this information and made it easier for the average individual to understand.  If you use the navigation above, you’ll see that Botnet Attacks has been broken down into categories, and further broken down to the specific threats within each category.
